On July 29 (UTC+8), during the hearing of the Tornado Cash case, the first witness for the defense, cryptography expert Dr. Matthew Edman, took the stand and elaborated on technical concepts such as smart contracts, decentralization architecture, DAO governance, IPFS, and UI/CLI, attempting to prove that Roman Storm does not control the front end and the liquidity pool of Tornado Cash.
