The UK Home Office plans to sell seized Crypto Assets with a contract value of up to $53.7 million.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the UK Home Office is working with the police to sell seized crypto assets and plans to establish a "crypto asset storage and monetization framework" to address the budget deficit. The related contract is valued at up to $53.7 million and will last for at least four years, with no acceptable bids received so far. The 61,000 Bitcoins seized in 2018 currently have a market capitalization of over $7 billion.
