According to Techub News, Bitcoin ATM operator Bitcoin Depot disclosed that it was affected by an "external system vulnerability" that occurred on June 23, 2024, resulting in the personal information of nearly 26,732 customers being leaked, but "there is currently no evidence that customer information has been misused." The company's notice stated that law enforcement informed them on June 13 that the investigation had been completed, and that they "have recently been authorized to begin notifying affected users."
