The future plan is to support voice and data transmission, promoting iPhone into the era of satellite communication.

T-Mobile Starlink testing program lands on iPhone
Bloomberg reported that Apple is working with SpaceX and US telecom operator T-Mobile to support the Starlink satellite network in version 18.3 of the iPhone, expanding the coverage of mobile networks.
